I started buying rental properties in Salt Lake County back in 2004.  It became quickly evident to me that there were few agents who specialized in residential multi-unit/rental properties.  Most commercial agents dealt primarily with commercial property and most residential agents dealt primarily with single-family homes.  It was a segment of the market that lacked specialization. It was an area of real estate that my accounting/tax background could be of use and that I believed could be done better. 

In 2005 I resigned from my job with the US Treasury Department and began focusing exclusively on buying, managing, and selling residential real estate investment properties. At that time, I began tracking data to identify market trends.  I began developing systems to find deals and market properties that I was trying to sell.  The efforts paid off, and in 2006 and 2007, I was one of the top selling duplex/4-plex agents in the county. The key was simply that I had acquired knowledge of these specific types of transactions that most agents didn't possess.  I had also gained invaluable experience purchasing and participating in the management of many properties of my own. 

In 2007 I added condos to my specialization, as I realized that condos and duplexes often shared some of the same buyer pool of beginning investors or first time homebuyers.  This allowed me to expand my pool of buyer clients and market exposure for all of my listings, which overall has helped my listings sell more quickly.

As a fellow investor/property owner, I know the issues that you deal with when trying to buy or sell these types of properties and I simply want to help you fullfill your investment goals to the best of my ability.  I am not a high-pressure salesman.  My goal is to offer you a higher level of care and professionalism than the competition, the same level that I would expect and require from someone selling a property of my own.
